My name is Katrina Beveridge,

I am an award winning teddy bear artist living in the beautiful Whitsunday's of sunny Queensland situated just off the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

I first started making teddy bears in 1999. Having a theme room in mind for my daughter. With one thing leading to another....... the bears took off leaving me with a back log of two years in orders.

This happened after some persuasion to enter a state competition, with my creations winning first, second, third and peoples choice awards.

"The Teddy Bear Shop" chain around Australia ordered exclusive designs. A Bear Magazine also published a story on my creations. It was now a full time job!

Since, I have entered many competitions winning "Best in Show", "Most innovative Design' and "Workmanship excellence awards to name a few.

Amongst my most unique designs there are "The Bearonette Collection, which are marionette bears with 13 wobble joints. Also my Animated Hugs of bears are very popular. They are several bears fully jointed, but also joined together with a music box in the larger bears back. When this plays, the larger bears head rotates gently with the music.

The name "Bumble Bears" comes from Bumble Bee's buzzing around my garden. Bears love honey, so "Bumble bears" was born.

My bears have been adopted all over the world, including Canada, Germany, France, New Mexico, Italy, New Zealand, Singapore, The Netherlands,, Russia, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Estonia, London, USA and Australia.
